Throughout my career, I’ve presented on various topics in child development and early childhood education. A few examples are below.

  • Original presentations for the Kordestani Family Program for Parents and Educators at Bing Nursery School in the following formats:
    • Three-day intensive summer session for educators: topics include the value of open-ended materials in children’s play, high-quality teacher-child interactions, and the importance of the child’s perspective in intentional teaching
    • Educator workshops and seminars: topics include the value of challenging play themes, children’s play cultures, and math and science in early childhood education
    • Parent workshops and seminars: topics include technology in early childhood education, promoting STEM with young children, communicating with young children, and the value of sensory play
